Data acquisition and analyses
Apart of hydrophysical and environmental consulting based on
hydrodynamic model studies a number of field surveys were carried
out in the Krähen- and Mühlenteich. The gained field
data are serving as driving forces for the model system, because
for the prognostic model and its validation only quality checked
input data are reliable and therefore acceptable.
Input data gained from these
field surveys, from literature or from quality checked existing
data sets are the basis and guaranty for an exact and lifelike
numerical model of the lakes.

To get exact information about the hydrophysical current pattern
a number of state variables were recorded applying various measuring
systems. Additionally a mobile weather station was used to record
meteorological data from the same time period.
